Five Courses
A menu written for this night and no other. Dark, rich, and deeply Roman, cooked the way they do it in the osterie back home. It stays sealed until October 21.
Wednesday, October 28 · 7 PM
Five courses. Daniel Zuckerman on violin. Candlelight, velvet, and a room full of strangers you already know. One night only.
For one night, our dining room turns into an old opera house. The lights go low, the candles come out, and Daniel Zuckerman's violin is already playing before you even find your seat.
Everyone arrives as someone else. Gold lace, black gloves, a little mystery at every table. The wine keeps pouring, the plates keep coming, and nobody has to be themselves until dessert.
Masks on or off, you are still family here. Whoever you come as, we will be so glad you came.
A presto, Vacanza Romana
A menu written for this night and no other. Dark, rich, and deeply Roman, cooked the way they do it in the osterie back home. It stays sealed until October 21.
Daniel Zuckerman, the Bohemian Violin, plays all through dinner. His repertoire runs past 300 pieces, from Puccini and Nino Rota to Morricone's great film scores and a little Phantom of the Opera, and he plays every one of them like the room belongs to him. Not background music. The kind of music that makes you set your fork down and just listen for a minute.
Wines by Lou Dedier, five pours, one for every course. Add the pairing for $45 when you reserve your seat and let us take care of the rest.
Come dressed as someone else. If you arrive without a mask, one of our team will be waiting at the door with one made for you.
We are closing the restaurant to everyone but our masquerade guests. No regular service, no in and out. Just one room, one seating, and every one of us focused on you.
Seating begins at 7:00 PM. Come a few minutes early, grab a glass, and let the room find you.
Black tie optional, drama encouraged. Think old opera house and candlelit library. Velvet, lace, satin, long gloves, a cape if you have been waiting for an excuse.
Masks are part of the night. Wear yours from the first pour to the last bite. Forgot one? We have you covered at the door.
One seating only. Tables for up to 6 book online. Bigger party? Call us at (916) 673-9620.
The $70 covers all five courses. The Lou Dedier wine pairing is an optional add-on: five pours, one for each course, $45 per guest. Choose it when you reserve. The full bar is open all night too.
Yes. A 20% gratuity is added at checkout along with tax, and it goes to our team. Nothing to sort out at the table, just enjoy the night.
Black tie optional. Dark, rich, a little theatrical. Emerald, black, burgundy, gold. Masks are strongly encouraged.
No problem at all. Our team will hand you one at the door.
Tell us when you book in the Resy notes, or give us a call, and we will plan your courses around it.
